Do you remember the little wooden boy who, when he told a lie, immediately grew a big nose? Pinocchio's amazing adventure now steps out of the storybook, cartoon world and comes to life! Now it's time to go on an adventure with him as he escapes from his creator, falls into the hands of robbers, is imprisoned, goes to school, turns into a donkey, is eaten by a whale shark, but by the end of the story he understands why he has to work, learn and love. Live the story with the protagonist, enter the world of the fairy tale with your loved ones and take part in our exciting interactive games! Let yourself fly on the wings of imagination! Debrecen's newest attraction is now waiting for a great adventure!
What is the Garden of Lights?
An unparalleled multimedia exhibition where you can walk through a magnificent garden and enjoy an incredible spectacular light and sound show along the way - dazzling your senses and suddenly you feel like you're part of the fairy tale. The Polish creators of the exhibition aim to take the Garden of Lights 'light stories' around the world. This is the second time the production has come to Hungary, and it's a great way to spend the autumn-winter evenings for young and old alike! Internationally, millions of visitors have so far enjoyed the wonder - be part of it at ZOO Debrecen! And after you've admired it, visit the already hugely successful Füvészkert in Budapest last season, where the adventure of the Smurfs invites you this time!
What can you expect?
At ZOO Debrecen you'll be enchanted by the many attractions - fairytale scenes, characters, great photo points, as well as beautifully decorated trees and other green areas, but don't forget the unique multimedia attractions!
When can you come?
The Pinocchio multimedia exhibition is open from 18 October 2024 to 2 March 2025. It will be open from 16:00 to 20:00 Monday to Thursday, and from 16:00 to 21:00 Friday to Sunday and on public holidays. On Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve, the fairytale world is at rest!
